Why Be Her Village?

Dear Friends and Family,

As we prepare to welcome our baby girl in November, we deeply appreciate your support! Instead of a traditional baby registry, we invite you to contribute to services that will aid Elena's recovery from birth and support our first few months at home.

Donations will help cover essential treatments such as chiropractic care and massage for both mommy and baby, and provide invaluable support from our midwives, doula, and postpartum doula. Our postpartum doula will be with us through the birth and continue to support us during the first six weeks, assisting with feeding, light cleaning, and emotional support.

This approach is more helpful to us than physical items right now, as it fosters a culture of postpartum care that prioritizes the health and well-being of both mother and baby during this pivotal moment. With your generosity, we aim to change public perception of childbirth, emphasizing the importance of support for the mother and baby. This assistance will contribute to positive mental and physical health outcomes for our family.
