Bio

After the birth of our first child, I realized there were some big gaps in the childbirth classes that we took. Before we became pregnant again, I was researching what we had missed and awoke a passion for childbirth and maternal care that has only deepened over the years. I became a Childbirth Educator in 2017 and a Birth Doula in 2018. I also delivered two babies as a gestational surrogate in 2019 and 2021.

Q: What are your certifications and trainings?

A: I am a Certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Doula though Birth Boot Camp. I keep a current CPR & First Aid Certification for adults and pediatrics.

Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?

A: My job is to join your birth team as support for you AND your partner, never as a replacement. I direct your partner (if they are not naturally finding their place) and make sure that they are resting, when possible, and eating so that they will have enough reserves to support you and your newborn baby.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: I serve the Greater Denver Area of Colorado including, but not limited to, Denver, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Boulder, Evergreen, Littleton, Lone Tree, Parker, and Castle Rock. I teach in-person birth classes in Lakewood and offer hybrid/Zoom classes to any location via Birth Boot Camp's pre-recorded online classes.
