About Western Willow Birth Services

Bio

Hi, I’m Aspen! I was born and Raised in Livingston Montana where I met my husband. We married following high school and now reside over the hill in Gallatin county. We have four beautiful children that we homeschool and take on all the adventures. I am currently a certified advanced VBAC doula, but I’m also working on completing 7 other birth related certifications! I can’t wait to work along side you and help to build a birth experience with a strong foundation!

Q&A

Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?

A: After experiencing medical neglect during a loss, trauma during and after labor and just seeing a lot of gaps in overall maternity care I felt it had been laid on my heart to become more educated on physiological birth and what is actually normal vs. what is common. And now I can’t stop sharing what I know!

Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?

A: Partners are crucial in good birth and postpartum outcomes, but many don’t know how to help. My job is to support you both in making informed decisions and knowing your options. Birth is a family centered event, I’m just there to help keep it that way!

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: Gallatin county MT and the greater area

Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

A: most seasons of life are short, savor the good seasons and learn from the hard ones. Most of all, always reach out when you need support.
