Renee is a birth doula, postpartum doula, lactation counselor and childbirth educator. She is also a mother of four, and knows how incredibly important support is for a healing postpartum time. Renee offers daytime and night time postpartum doula support in the Sioux Falls, SD area. Transitions: Doula & Life Services is a full scale doula agency, with a team of birth and postpartum professionals ready to support your childbearing year.

Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?

A: After working as a birth doula for years, I saw the incredible need for greater postpartum support. I love to bring peace, reassurance and knowledge to families in the thick of the newborn stage.

Q: What are your certifications and trainings?

A: Our postpartum doulas are certified through Childbirth Support International. I have additional certifications in birth doula, lactation counseling, and childbirth education.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: We serve the Sioux Falls, SD area. Our regular coverage is within 30 miles of the doula's home. A mileage fee is charged for every 15 miles outside of that area.

Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

A: Listen to your intuition.
