Hi, My name is Ashley Mullane! First and foremost, I am a firefighter wife and a mom to three amazing little ones. I am a Nashville girl who’s found her forever home here in Boise, ID. What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

Trust your instincts and stay informed. Educate yourselves on your birth options, create a plan that reflects your values, and be open to adapting as needed. Surround yourselves with a supportive team who respects your wishes. Remember, you know your body and baby best. Confidence and preparation are key to an empowered birth experience.

How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?

My role as a doula is to support both of you, not replace your partner. I offer guidance and reassurance so your partner feels confident and engaged. With me there, your partner can stay present while I provide practical help and tools. Together, we create a strong, supportive team to ensure you both feel empowered throughout the birth.

What drew you into working with parents-to-be?

My passion for working with parents-to-be comes from a deep belief in the power of support and empowerment during birth. Experiencing my own births and witnessing others inspired me to help families feel confident, informed, and cared for. Seeing parents step into this transformative journey with strength and trust fuels my dedication to this work.
