Q&A
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: It was my personal experience becoming a mother and watching my community of mama friends grow stronger and deeper with the mutual support we offered each other. I believe our success in life depends greatly on the support we receive through huge transitional times in our lives. If we're held and loved, we can weather any storm.
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: I am a certified lactation counselor through The Healthy Children's Project; I have over 500 hours of herbalist training through VCIH; adult/child/infant CPR and first aid certified; 30 hours postpartum doula training including Abhyanga massage from Ayurvedic Cntr of VT; I am a placenta encapsulation specialist through PBiU.
Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: The longer you can stay immobile the sooner you'll be on your feet.
