Bio

A Scottish Lassie married to an American guy with a Montenegrin rescue dog and a wee boy with a huge personality. Nikki's journey to becoming a coach, speaker and course creator has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows, relocations, post partum depression, running her own businesses and navigating the challenges faced with this transient lifestyle. Becoming a mum was Nikk's catalyst for change and it is her passion and purpose to share all she has learned with you.

Q&A

What drew you into working with parents-to-be?

When my son was born in 2017 I experienced challenges with my own Mental Health and want to pay it forward to support other families. No scaremongering, No sugarcoating, honest and supportive conversation and more preparation before bringing that wee one home.

What are your certifications and trainings?

I hold Diplomas in: Post Natal Depression Awareness NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Life Coaching My own lived experience of Post Partum Depression/Anxiety. Living overseas since 2007, Indonesia, Montenegro, UAE and now Belgium. Experience in running business.

What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

Before meeting and learning about your new baby, introduce yourself to....YOU! A little personal development and understanding yourself better will go a long way as you manage the expectations of yourself and others around you as you navigate this new chapter. Honouring your own needs means you will show up as the amazing Mum you are and want to be

What's your favorite past client story?

I don't always meet those who utilise the digital resource Stepping Into Parenthood but at a Baby Expo event one day I was approached by a gorgeous Mum who cried as she hugged me telling me that it had had a huge impact on the daily life of her and her family! I don't mind telling you....I cried a little too!
