Hi! I’m Amy, a certified postpartum doula with Doula School Canada and a career nanny working in Winnipeg, MB. I have five years of professional private childcare experience, including three years working with young infants and newborns. I’ve done everything from holding the new baby straight home from the hospital so mom can take a shower to picking up your surly teen from lacrosse practice. I have experience with twins, large sibling groups, and overnight care.

Description
The role of a postpartum doula is to support the new parents in the first days, weeks, or months of the baby’s life. This can look like a myriad of different supports, including but not limited to infant care, emotional and physical support after birth, light housekeeping, breastfeeding support, and overnight and sleep support. I come equipped with knowledge, skills, and resources for anything your family might need during the postpartum period.
Pricing Description
Hourly rate is dependant on age. 0-6 months daytime rates are $40/h and overnight $50/h. 6-12 months daytime is $35/h and overnight is $45. Daytime shifts are a minimum of 4 hours and overnights are 8 hours. If scheduling more than 40 hours of daytime work or 10 overnight shifts there is a $3/h discount to all shifts. If you have twins there is a $3/h additional charge to all shifts.
