While you get much needed rest I lovingly tend to your newborn's needs overnight. My support includes changing diapers, feeding and burping, facilitating breastfeeding, soothing baby back to sleep, sanitizing bottles and pump parts, washing and folding baby laundry, tidying up the nursery & more!

Hi, I'm Elyse! I am a DONA certified postpartum doula, a certified Newborn Care Specialist and certified with the American Red Cross in Adult, Child & Infant CPR. Having had my own children has opened my eyes to the amount of support needed for families (especially in the early days!). I want to make sure that mothers in our community feel encouraged and supported as they find their rhythm as a family. I love helping moms grow in their confidence as they transition into motherhood!
What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
I realized my true passion was taking care of moms & newborns in the postpartum period. I love helping new moms process their birth stories, giving new moms the physical and emotional support they need after childbirth, supporting moms in their breastfeeding journey, cooking nourishing meals to help them heal, and teaching them all the essentials!
What locations or areas do you serve?
I serve families virtually worldwide. For in person support, I provide care in Orange County, California.
What are your certifications and trainings?
I am a DONA certified postpartum doula, a certified Newborn Care Specialist and certified with the American Red Cross in Adult, Child & Infant CPR. You can call me a lifelong learner though. I have a long list of trainings I have taken to further my knowledge! I am currently working on an Ayurveda for Motherhood course in all of my spare time!
How much experience do you have?
With 16 years of expertise in newborn, infant, and child care, I began as a seasoned nanny, then embraced the joys of motherhood (3 kiddos, ages 7, 5 & 2!). My journey includes working at a local OBGYN/midwifery office, and now, I proudly serve as a postpartum doula. I love blending all these experiences to give families the support they deserve.
What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
Embrace this nurturing mantra: "Sleep when the baby sleeps. Clean when the baby cleans." It's a gentle reminder that amidst the busyness of caring for your little one, your own care matters too. In this precious postpartum phase, don't forget to nurture yourself – because a well-nurtured parent is a resilient parent.
