About Open Space Therapy

Bio

I’m Jocelyn Flores, LCSW, a bilingual Latina therapist and mom of two with 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Perinatal-trained, I support moms of young children in reducing guilt, setting boundaries, and reclaiming their identity. I provide warm, practical guidance in a safe, nonjudgmental space so parents can feel confident, supported, and more connected to themselves.

Q&A

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: My practice is fully virtual and allows me to serve clients throughout the state of CT. I do offer walk and talk therapy in the Manchester, CT area when the weather permits.

Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

A: My best advice is to focus on what’s within your control and let go of the rest. Trust yourself, ask for help when you need it, and take small moments each day to care for yourself your well-being matters as much as your baby’s.

Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?

A: I was drawn to supporting parents-to-be through my own eye-opening experience of becoming a mom. It showed me how challenging and transformative early parenthood can be and inspired me to help other parents navigate this stage with guidance, support, and practical strategies that reduce guilt and build confidence.
