About Nouvelle Midwifery and Wellness

Q&A

Q: What are your certifications and trainings?

A: I am a Certified Nurse Midwife. Prior to becoming a Certified Nurse-Midwife, I worked for several years in research and as an MLT, then became a Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse with cross-training in Labor and Delivery. I am certified in BLS, PALS, and NRP. I am also a Certified Lactation Counselor and S.T.A.B.L.E. provider.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: I currently provide services in San Antonio, TX (Bexar County) and surrounding areas.

Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

A: My top piece of advice is, "Eat the fish, not the bone!" People will come out of the woodwork with their advice, whether it is products, techniques, or birth stories. Keep the information you like, research it, and toss the rest! This is your baby, body, birth, and experience. OWN IT!
