North Alabama Newborn Nurse is an RN-led postpartum and newborn support team serving families across North Alabama. We provide compassionate, evidence-based care through overnight newborn support, daytime postpartum help, and personalized newborn education. Our mission is to bring calm, confidence, and community to families during the early weeks at home.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: We serve most of North Central Alabama, including Huntsville, Madison, Decatur, Athens, and the surrounding areas. We are also expanding into Grant, Scottsboro, Muscle Shoals, and Florence Areas.
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: Our work grew from years in mother–baby nursing and our own experience in parenthoo where we saw firsthand how little support families received once they left the hospital. We could only offer so much education before they were sent home. We created North Alabama Newborn Nurse to give families the continued care, guidance, and support they deserve.
Bringing Home Baby Class

Description
Bringing Home Baby is a private, in-home newborn care class taught by an RN. We cover essential newborn care, feeding basics, safe sleep, soothing, bath time, diapering, and what to expect in the early weeks. Families also get hands-on practice with their own baby gear to feel confident and prepared before baby arrives or shortly after birth.

Newborn Care Specialist
Description
We provide hands-on newborn care and postpartum support from a registered nurse in your home. This includes feeding support, diapering, soothing, safe sleep guidance, rest breaks for parents, newborn education, and help establishing healthy routines during the early weeks at home.
Pricing Description
Newborn Nurse Support is billed directly through North Alabama Newborn Nurse. Overnight care typically starts around $400 per night (8 hours). Daytime postpartum support ranges from $40–$45 per hour. Families book multi-night or multi-week packages, and gifted funds can be applied directly toward any package.
