I include in that price at least 2 prenatal visits to get to know you and plan for your birth. As much or as little labor and birth support as you want. Massage techniques/ monitoring moms fluid intake movement and positional suggestions 1-2 hours after birth lactation help and continued comfort measures. Finally 1 postpartum visit when I evaluate Mom's mood and talk through the birth experience with her.
I charge a flat rate of $700/ birth. Unless you are more than 90 min drive from my home in which case I add a $100 travel fee to help cover the cost of driving to and from your home/ birth location.
