My name is Alex. I am a DONA Certified Bilingual Postpartum Care Provider and a Lactation Educator Specialist. My doula practice is holistic. I cater each experience to each family. One of my strengths is that I am culturally competent, speak English and Spanish fluently, open to listen and more importantly learn. I encourage families to observe and practice cultural traditions that are important to them in their 4th trimester and beyond. IG: @monarcawellness

A: I have a Bachelors, Masters, Postpartum Doula Certification, and Lactation Education Specialist Certificate.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: I work primarily in South LA, West LA, Culver City, Downtown Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

A: Every conversation that I have with an expectant mom is an opportunity to remind her that this journey is hers. It is her opportunity to create the space that she wants without reservations. Becoming a mother/parent means learning to set healthy boundaries and use their resources. Outside of myself, I have a community directory of 45+ referrals.
