Founded in 2019, MINE-R-T Doula Company is Charlotte's first black-owned and operated doula agency. We pride ourselves on providing culturally competent care.

A: We are certified birth and postpartum doulas. We are certified placenta encapsulation specialists and childbirth educators.

A: We provide service within a 50-mile radius of Charlotte's center city including Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Lincoln, Iredell, Cleveland, Union, and Rowan Counties.

Placenta Encapsulation
Placenta Work
Description
Our practitioner will encapsulate your placenta following the birth of your child. Ingesting the placenta in capsule form may help reduce anxiety, lower the risk of postpartum depression, lessen postpartum bleeding, reduce postpartum hair loss, and promote better sleep. A placenta tincture may also be added to placenta services.

Childbirth Class
Birth Classes
Description
We offer group and private childbirth education classes to prepare our clients for pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. Our instructor will teach comfort measures, the stages of labor, and teach your partner how to support you during labor. Reserve your space in one of our group classes or contact us to set up private instruction.

Birth Support
Birth Doulas
Description
Our doulas assist with labor positioning and comfort measures for both medicated and unmedicated births. Your doula will help you understand your options and facilitate communication between you and your medical team so that you can access the information you need to make informed decisions about your care.

Total price is $1,500. May be paid in installments.

Postpartum Support
Postpartum Doulas
Description
Postpartum doulas assist the family as they adjust to life with a newborn and recover from the demands of childbirth. Services are customized for each family.
Infant feeding help, support your emotional and physical recovery following childbirth, run basic errands, assist with newborn care such as diaper care, bathing, and soothing
Light meal prep, sibling care, information about community resources.
Pricing Description
Individual hours may be purchased at a rate of $45/hour. Postpartum care bundles are also available for 50 hours or more.
