Bio
As a photographer I am self taught with over 20 years of experience handling newborns and babies. I have been in business since 2013. In 2014 I started specializing in Newborn & Family Photography. I am a mother of 3 almost grown children and as a mom I understand how important it is to capture those first few moments with your new baby. The time passes in a flash and in many cases it is a haze. We want to remember those little details and I am here to help you with that.
What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
As a mom myself and 3 c-sections I understand the importance of having those first few moments captured. Babies change so much in the first year and we want to hold onto it for as long as we can. Photographs give us the ability to revisit all the little details.
What locations or areas do you serve?
I am located in Rocky Mount Virginia, but I will travel up to 90 minutes from my home for a birth. This can be anywhere from Eden, NC., Danville, Va., or anywhere in the Roanoke Valley. Maternity & Newborn Sessions are done in my fully furnished studio. (Outdoors for maternity is an option)
How much experience do you have?
I have over 20 years experience handling newborns and have been in business for over a decade. Though I am self taught I follow safety procedures. Mom & babies safety are always top priority.
