About Milkwell Lactation
Bio
The impact of my work is at the nexus of all that is seen and measurable and based in science and research along with the crazy insanity that is magic and mystery around babies, birth, instincts, intuition and self reflection. When we work together you get a proper dose of education in what to expect from your body and baby + you get some gentle guidance around what baby expects and how to meld those together to make learning to care for a little one feel more enriching and less stressful.

Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: I am a retired birth doula who can't stop postpartum care and lactation support as a board certified lactation consultant. I am also a Certified Wellness Coach and a NeuroFit Certified Coach helping with nervous system regulation. I am obsessed with learning how the brain and body are connected and how we can find more comfort + joy.
Q: Are there any specialities in who you serve? (e.g. home birth, VBAC, etc.)
A: I specialize in helping those who struggle with anxiety and depression figure out how to incorporate all the infant feeding methods into their life to provide ease and peace of mind.

Description
Our All Tied Up class is for parents who want to learn more about tongue or lip ties and how ties can impact infant feeding at breast or bottle, gassiness, discomfort, lifestyle and other life spectrum related concerns like speech, dentition, airway, etc.

Description
We offer a 60 min. breastfeeding basics class that goes over everything you need to know before birth to get through the first few days after baby arrives. We discuss how to get a good latch, how often baby needs to eat, appropriate weight gain, breast care, complications and strategies to overcome common concerns. We also offer All Tied Up, a class to learn more about the implications of tongue, lip and cheek ties on feeding and more.
