Bio

When I am not serving families and their newborn(s), I am out and about doing photography! I became a Postpartum Doula simply because I saw the lack of support. Outside experience, empathy, and education is what grew my passion. After taking classes through DONA and diving into additional research on my own, I decided I wanted to dedicate my time to supporting as many families as I can reach. I am here for you; to help bridge the gap and fill in the holes.

Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?

A: Learning about the lack of support for families after birth here in the U.S. compared to other countries.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: I provide services in Katy, TX and the surrounding areas. My mileage cap is about a 25mile radius.

Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?

A: I am not here to replace anyone, I wouldn't want to replace anyone. The goal of having a postpartum doula is to encourage even more unity in the family. My role is to take on tasks that would hinder rest, recovery, and bonding.

Q: What's your favorite past client story?

A: I was in the kitchen prepping food and cleaning up for a family. Mom was relaxing on the couch with baby, and I had just gotten her two other children (2&3) settled and they were playing together. Dad got to come home from work and not worry about a thing except sitting back with his family for the rest of the night.
