Q: How much experience do you have?
A: I have been a birth and postpartum doula since 2006. I only practice a a postpartum doula, now. I have taken classes on breastfeeding and sleep. I continue to take continuing education to enhance my knowledge in supporting new families. I was certified with DONA, PALS, NAPS, for birth and postpartum. I no longer align with the organizations.
Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: The greater Seattle area and surrounding areas of about 20 miles.
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: After raising my family I wanted something to reward my heart. Postpartum work fills my heart. It's wonderful to see families confidence grow with their new role. Plus, it's wonderful to snuggle and rock a new baby in the middle of the night. It provide care for the baby, as well as, mom and dad.
Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: Give yourself grace. Keep it simple. Ask for help. Hire me as your postpartum doula.
Postpartum Doula Support
Overnight Doula
Description
I will provide you overnight support, help with breastfeeding or take on bottle feeding for the night. I will answer questions and concerns about newborn care, sleep, breastfeeding, baby products, to name a few. I can help get your baby on a better sleeping pattern. I can provide with my knowledge and help to build your confidence in your new role as a parent. Plus, provide you with much needed sleep.
Pricing Description
My rate is $65.00 an hour. I'm flexible with hours and nights of the week.
