Bio
When I had my daughter nearly 30 years ago I had a postpartum doula and credit that decision with an easier postpartum recovery, breastfeeding relationship, and more sleep! I had always been interested in working with pregnant people and babies and right away I began training as a doula, childbirth educator, lactation educator. For over 2 decades my passion has been to help ease the transition of meeting their little one. Later I added Newborn Care Specialist Certification.

A: Knoxville and East TN
Q: How much experience do you have?
A: I became certified in 2000 as a birth and postpartum doula, lactation and childbirth education. In 2008 I became a HypnoDoula. In 2023 I certified as a Newborn Care Specialist. I have helped 1000+ families with postpartum services and attended 800 births.
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: CAPPA, HypnoBabies, ICAN, Cradle Coach Academy, along with numerous continuing education trainings and opportunities.

Description
Certified Newborn Care Specialist includes baby care, overnight help, feeding advice/support, light housekeeping, newborn education/postpartum care. I have 23 years of experience caring for newborns and families! I love helping to ease the transition into welcoming a new family member in a non judgmental way.
Pricing Description
Postpartum Doula Services - $45 per hour, 8 hour minimum for overnight.
Travel fee may apply outside of Knoxville proper.
