Hi there, I'm Jody! Mom of 2 grown kids and former Nanny turned PPD .My approach is rooted in the belief that when parents are supported, they can thrive. As a postpartum doula and lactation counselor, I don't just offer advice; I offer a steady, non-judgmental presence to help you navigate the early weeks. Whether we’re troubleshooting a latch, establishing a sleep rhythm, or simply ensuring you’ve had a hot meal and a moment to breathe, I am here to help you build confidence and skills :)

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: I am happy to support families in South Eastern, PA and Northern Delaware! Basically within about 35 miles from Garnet Valley, PA (anywhere if we are working together virtually for lactation support!)
Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: Be open, sometimes your plans turn out differently than you hoped or expected and that's ok. Be open to advice and accepting help/support from others. Be open to allowing your partner to be involved, don't shoulder all of the burden- be a team!
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: When I had my babies (19 and 21 years ago!) I had very little support, no friends or family that were going through this new chapter at the same time and no Google!! *GASP* What I would have given for some guidance/encouragement from another "Mom figure" that was both non-judgmental and helpful! I am thrilled to offer this support to families now!

Postpartum Doulas
Description
Postpartum doula support including but not limited to: daytime/overnight care- allowing new parents to get some much needed rest while caring for baby, sterilizing pump and bottle parts if needed, breast and bottle feeding support, light laundry and organizing, unloading dishwasher, meal prep and more!
Lactation counseling can be offered separately from PPD services: providing infant feeding support for parents, in person or virtually.
Pricing Description
PPD services start at $45.00hr with a 4 hour minimum. Contracts can be tailored based on clients specific needs. Example of a possible contract would be: 40 hours of doula services including 5 day shifts (4 hours each) and 2 overnight shifts (10 hours) to be used within a 4 week period. Most clients will create an 8 week schedule with a mix of day and night shifts to experience both types of support that's best for them
Lactation consults: $75
