HI! I’m Meghan (she/her), the owner of Held. I’m passionate about helping all people navigate the unique challenges they may face postpartum. I have a background in the social sciences (PhD dropout in socio-cultural anthropology, BA in anthropology and photography) and professional experience as a baker and cook. I’ve trained as a DONA International postpartum doula, and I’m currently pursuing certification, which is typically a 2-year process of training, study, and in-the-field practice.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: I’m based in Hummelstown, PA, and happy to travel to Harrisburg, Hershey, Palmyra, Linglestown, Middletown, Elizabethtown, and many areas between. I can also work as a hybrid or fully virtual postpartum doula.

Description
I provide practical, informational, and emotional support to new parents. This might look like taking care of baby so you can shower or rest, providing references to local lactation specialists or therapists, helping you learn how to swaddle/burp/soothe baby, or just making sure you have something to eat other than trail mix. I’m there for all of it: the excitement, the fears, the exhaustion, and the triumphs.
Pricing Description
My services are $25/hour.
