You and your partner should BOTH be able to present during the birth of your little one. And that's where your doula can help. Let us guide you both through physiological labour and birth with regular check-ins from your doula, two in-person prenatal visits, continuous labour support until Baby has their first feeding, 1 postpartum visit and resources.
You have the option to extend our support should you need it later.

What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
Your experience is unique to you. Comparison is the thief of joy, so reminding yourself that your lived experience can and will be different than other moms you encounter will help keep a fresh perspective.
How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
Let your partner know, we're actually there to make him feel more confident supporting you. Most partners have never been in a birthing room before, so to expect them to intuitively know what you need is challenging. As your doula, we aim to keep your desires and values at the forefront of your care and that includes intimacy between you both.
Are there any specialities in who you serve? (e.g. home birth, VBAC, etc.)
My specialty is supporting biblical-based families and those that desire a physiological birth. As a believer of Christ, I support families of the same belief spiritually grow and be reminded of the promises of God. A physiological birth can be medicated or unmedicated - we focus on how the body moves and understanding the process.
