We are seeing more and more parents pregnant with twins and triplets with very few local options for education. This class will cover what to do during pregnancy (hospital tours and insurance), what kind of gear you need to purchase and how many, tips to keep you sane, and where to find resources and support.

This 90-minute class is led by one of Gold Coast’s multiples experts.

Health and safety recommendations are always evolving and many things have changed since most grandparents had their own children. This 2-hour class will break down the generation gap, giving soon-to-be grandparents the most up-to-date information while dispelling myths in a non-threatening, engaging way.

Three age-specific sleep classes from newborn through toddler
Alyssa Veneklase, Certified Infant & Child Sleep Consultant, offers a series of three sleep classes – Tired As A Mother.
These classes are virtual and people can work with us from anywhere in the world. Each class includes handouts, videos that you can watch at your leisure, and a live monthly call with Alyssa.to answer questions and talk through specific scenarios.

We offer in-home and in-hospital bedrest support for families in a 50-mile radius of Grand Rapids, Michigan. We also offer in-home sibling care, nursery setup, household support, childbirth prep and more. Our doulas are insured and certified.

We offer text support throughout pregnancy, one virtual prenatal visit and one virtual postpartum visit. The certified virtual doula is on call for the birth and will offer continuous phone, video or text support during labor and the birth. We offer emotional and informational support during pregnancy and labor. We offer position suggestions and can virtually demonstrate physical support techniques.

This hands-on, virtual workshop, taught by Certified Birth & Postpartum Doula Kristin Revere, focuses on comfort measures for labor and birth. This class covers communications, comfort, and laboring positions. It will ease your mind as you prepare for birth.

This workshop is a perfect for both first time and as seasoned parents. It can be taken in addition to a hospital childbirth class. This class includes worksheets.

Our certified sleep consultant will create a plan based on your family, your parenting style, and your goals. Guided Sleep Reset (for ages 3 months to 5 years)

Learn how to survive your first several weeks home with baby! In this virtual class, you will go over real-life scenarios so that you’re confident and prepared when your baby arrives. Alyssa is a Certified Postpartum Doula, NCS and Certified Infant & Child Sleep Consultant. She will cover feeding, fussiness, soothing techniques, swaddling methods, bathing, safety, sleeping and more. She offers a 15-minute phone call to answer questions.

Gold Coast Doulas offers a Saturday Series of classes including Comfort Measures for Labor, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Survival. You can sign up for one, two, or all three. We offer select live Zoom classes at www.goldcoastdoulas.com. We also have recorded versions available to watch at any time with a 15-minute call to answer questions.

We offer day and overnight postpartum doula support to families up and down the Gold Coast in Michigan. That includes Lakeshore towns from Niles to Harbor Springs and the Grand Rapids area. Our doulas are certified and insured. Support includes: household tasks. newborn care, feeding support, emotional support during recovery, sibling care, light meal prep and more. Breastfeeding: Getting a Strong Start $139
A comprehensive course with Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Kelly Wysocki-Emery.

Perfect for expectant parents who plan to breastfeed. Designed for singles or couples, we will cover all your questions about breastfeeding, leaving you more confident than when you came. This recorded class offers a 15-minute call to answer questions.

(ages 3 weeks - 5 years)
Virtual guidance (via Zoom) given on how to address your sleep issue, including handouts, a routine, and information on recommended sleep-teaching methods if applicable.
This does not include a personalized sleep plan or follow up support. It is great for parents who are confident in carrying out sleep training independently and/or have minor sleep issues.   Completion of Sleep Questionnaire required.
