Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: Fourth Trimester Doc was founded after Dr. Haggerty's postpartum experience highlighted a lack of support for new mothers. With a focus on in-home care, we provide specialized support for both mothers and newborns. Our practice is the first of its kind in Minnesota, aiming to revolutionize postpartum care and restore traditional support systems.

We’re here to help you thrive during the postpartum time, not just survive. Our comprehensive package offers in-home medical care, including:
- 5 visits for mother/birther and newborn
- Unlimited support between visits
- 1 postpartum planning session
- 1 call with your partner/support person for postpartum planning
- Option for the last visit to be the 2-month well-child check, including vaccinations
Pricing Description
Our 4th Trimester Package is $1,997.00, plus tax, without insurance coverage through The Lactation Network.
Our 4th Trimester Package is $985.00, plus tax, with insurance coverage through the Lactation Network.
The Lactation Network provides essential lactation care services, while the additional amount accounts for physician fees. We encourage you to submit your insurance claim to The Lactation Network to explore your coverage options!
