Bio

I have been serving homebirth clients throughout Hampton Roads and the Peninsula of SouthEastern Va since 2013. Our care is personalized to each families needs. I am a Certified Professional Midwife with experience in HBAC/VBAC, vaginal breech birth and vaginal twin births at home or in our Birthing Suite. I love supporting clients in their journey to becoming parents in a holistic and natural approach while treating their newborns in a gentle manner.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: We serve all of the seven cities of Hampton Roads, VA as well as the Peninsula to include: Isle of Wight, Surry, Smithfield, Williamsburg,, Yorktown, James City & York Counties, Gloucester & Mathews Counties and others by request.

Q: Are there any specialities in who you serve? (e.g. home birth, VBAC, etc.)

A: We serve clients in their homes or our our birth suite. We also offer VBAC/HBAC services, vaginal breech birth and some vaginal twin births.

Q: What are your certifications and trainings?

A: We are Certified Professional Midwives, Licensed by the Board of Medicine in Virginia. We are also Neonatal Resuscitation Providers & CPR trained providers. We attend Breech simulations regularly and retrain every two years. The owner is an Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics certified instructor as well.

Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

A: Trust your instincts! If you feel a piece of your care is missing something or your baby is telling you what they need, listen to that inner voice. Don't be afraid to question EVERYTHING when it comes to your care. Research what is important to you. Don't be afraid to ask for help any rely on others whenever possible. You are not alone!
