Bio

I have over 12 years of physical therapy experience. I am board certified in orthopedics and have extensive training in pelvic health including pelvic floor dry needling. I am also a certified birth doula through DONA International. I am incredibly passionate about keeping clients as active as they want to be during pregnancy and beyond.

Q: What's your favorite past client story?

A: I love supporting clients through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. A birth client who also worked with me in perinatal physical therapy could not stop raving about her strength program after her birth because she felt so strong while pushing. While we don't train specifically for birth, feeling strong certainly has its perks!

Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

A: It can be really easy to spend a lot of time on your registry and preparing your physical space for birth. Sharing that energy with other areas including birth prep, postpartum prep, and feeding can be incredibly helpful in easing the transition into parenthood. No one ever regrets the time and energy they put into preparing for those things.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: I serve clients in-person in the Duluth, MN and surrounding area. In-home visits within 25 min. of Duluth/Superior I am licensed in MN and WI. I offer virtual services for both Physical Therapy, Wellness, and Doula support.

Q: Are there any specialities in who you serve? (e.g. home birth, VBAC, etc.)

A: I am often chosen to support clients who are experiencing high risk births, have a hx. of previous challenging or traumatic births, folks with pelvic floor or orthopedic concerns, and inductions due to my background in healthcare and my medical knowledge. I thrive in this setting and feel comfortable in this space.
