Bio

I am a certified birth doula, photographer, lactation specialist and educator serving Southeast Michigan/Metro Detroit families. I am also hold certifications in Gilligans Guide, Advanced VBAC and have completed the Spinning Babies workshop. I am constantly learning and have taken several trainings/classes on lactation, bereavement and trauma, movement and positioning as well as auditing several childbirth education courses. I'm passionate about advocacy, education and being there for you!

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: Metro Detroit & Southeast Michigan (within a 1-hour radius of Lake Orion, Michigan)

Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?

A: Your partner knows you best, and I know labor and birth. Together, we make a GREAT team! I work really hard to teach your partner along the way so that you BOTH feel confident as you grow your family together.

Q: Are there any specialities in who you serve? (e.g. home birth, VBAC, etc.)

A: I am a CLS (certified lactation specialist) and am an Advanced VBAC certified doula. I am also a certified postpartum doula and am certified in Gilligans Guide - maternal positioning for optimal fetal position in birth. I am constantly learning and taking trainings to ensure I'm up-to-date and can offer my clients the best!

Q: How much experience do you have?

A: I began doula work in 2022! I have two children so my own childbirth experiences began in 2018.
