About Empowered After Birth
Bio
I’m a postpartum doula, lactation educator, and nutrition-focused postpartum support provider passionate about helping families feel supported, confident, and cared for after birth. My approach is holistic, practical, and nonjudgmental, meeting parents exactly where they are. As a mother myself, I understand how transformative and vulnerable the postpartum period can be. I believe new parents deserve hands-on support, education, and rest to heal, adjust, and thrive.
Q&A
Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
A: I support the whole family and never replace a partner. I work alongside them, offering guidance and hands-on help so they feel confident and included. My goal is to lighten the load, create space for bonding, and help the whole family feel supported and cared for.
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: I am a certified postpartum doula and lactation educator, trained in newborn care, breastfeeding support, and holistic postpartum wellness. I am also Infant CPR & AED certified, a Master Health Coach, and hold a Bachelor of Science in Health Education.
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: I was drawn to supporting parents-to-be because I know how overwhelming and transformative the transition to parenthood can be. I love helping families feel confident, supported, and cared for during this special time, providing guidance, hands-on help, and reassurance when they need it most.
Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: I provide in-home postpartum and lactation support throughout Central Massachusetts and nearby towns. I also offer virtual support for families who prefer guidance from home, making it easy to get help wherever you are.
