Bio
My name is Kayla, and I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula with 10 years of experience as a RN in Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, Postpartum, and community health as a nurse for the Maternal Infant Health Program. I use a trauma informed approach with all my clients.

Q: How much experience do you have?
A: I have attended hundreds of births, helped hundreds of parents with breastfeeding, and have provided support and education to dozens of postpartum moms and families for the last 12 years. I also have five children of my own.
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: I am a RN, have trained with BEST Doula, and am currently obtaining my Lactation Specialist Certificate.
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: Honestly I have been interested in birth work for the last 20 years, just out of pure passion for the work. Long before I thought about taking care of families, I was fascinated with all things pregnancy and birth. That really never changed, and I am still in love with taking care of parents during this incredible journey.

Two 1 hour long prenatal appointments and full labor support from the time you need it until 2 hours after baby is born. Your prenatal appointments help us get to know each other and also discuss your preferences, and create a labor support and birth plan that fits your needs.

$1700, payment plans available, and I do accept some medicaid insurances
