Bio
I'm Liz (she/her). I live in Severn, Maryland with my husband, our 5 kids, and 4 cats. I am a certified birth and trained postpartum doula through DONA International serving the Baltimore, Annapolis, DMV and Southern Maryland areas. I believe every mother/birthing person deserves a doula. I am passionate about empowering parents to make the right decisions for their births and bringing back the village that we are all lacking by providing individualized support tailored to your family's needs.

Q: How much experience do you have?
A: I have been a birth and postpartum doula for over 4 years now and have attended around 50 births and counting! In my whole career I've only had 2 births I've attended that ended in an unplanned c section! One which was a twin birth (breech) and the other when I was called in for back up for another doula on day 3 of a 4 day induction.

Standard Birth Doula Package- 1 Prenatal Interview; 2 (2 hours each) prenatal visit for pregnancy/birth/breastfeeding education and 1 virtual birth and postpartum planning session; Phone/Email support throughout pregnancy; on call status starting 3 weeks before due date until labor begins (sooner if high risk); continual support throughout labor and 2 hours immediately postpartum; 1 (up to 4 hours) postpartum visit.

Description
Make sure mom/parents are well rested and nourished so they can better care for their newborn. Help with light housework, care for baby/babies while mom/parent stretch their legs, eat, shower, nap, etc. Breast/chestfeeding support, support and suggestions on how to care for and manage life with a newborn, meal prep with nourishing meals for the postpartum period, help finding community resources.
Pricing Description
$35-$50/hour. Minimum 4 hours. The more hours booked, the less the cost per hour.
