About Elizabeth Grossman Doula Services LLC
Bio
After over 30 years as a civil rights attorney, I decided to become a certified part-time postpartum doula. I did this because: I love babies and want to support their families, especially new parents, during the beautiful and scary first days and weeks, I remember how hard it was to sift through conflicting advice and stick to how I wanted to care for my son. Now, I use the wealth of knowledge I’ve developed since then to help new parents figure out how to be secure in their decisions.
Q&A
Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: I'm based in Brooklyn and serve the New York City area.
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: I received my postpartum certification from Carriage House Birth. I am working toward additional certifications in Infant Sleep Solutions from Maternity Wise Institute, and in Infant Lactation and Feeding from Manhattan Birth.
Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: Do your research, stick with your instincts, and try and tune out the noise.
