Rachel is a certified labor doula, VBAC specialist, and postpartum & infant care doula, ready to support you throughout your pregnancy, labor, birth, and adjustment to having a new baby, practicing since 2020. I am proud to be certified by ProDoula, a professional doula organization that maintains high professional standards of providing unbiased, nonjudgmental support for all birthing clients. Q: What are your certifications and trainings?

A: I am certified as a Labor/Birth and Postpartum & Infant Care doula by ProDoula. I also hold VBAC Specialist and Infant Feeding Education Specialist certifications from ProDoula.

Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?

A: One of my favorite things to do when supporting families and couples is to help partners to support their loved one! Sometimes, partners can get a little overwhelmed or not be sure what actions will be most helpful, and a word of support from the doula can be just what they need to be the rockstar their birthing person needs to have at their side.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: I am based in Hoover/Birmingham, Alabama. I am happy to serve at your hospital, birth center, or home birth within an 80-mile radius. I do charge a flat rate for travel outside the greater Birmingham area.
