Hi, I’m Jerika — birth + postpartum doula, educator (childbirth + newborn), student midwife, and placenta encapsulation. I walk alongside families in the tender seasons before and after birth, offering holistic, evidence-based, and deeply compassionate care. My approach is rooted in the belief that all birth types are valid and can be deeply empowering — no matter how you decide to birth. A: In 2020, I began as a doula and student midwife, training under several local home birth midwives. For 2.5 years, I lived the on-call life—attending prenatals, sitting bedside through long labors, learning the art, education, and intuition of holistic midwifery care.
