About Carolina Village Community Care
Bio
Carolina Village Community Care is a home care agency for women. We provide short-term in-home support to help alleviate the stress and overwhelm women experience when managing their lives and homes after childbirth, when navigating an illness or health diagnosis, or recovering from surgery or hospitalization. We do this work because we believe women deserve support, and we are passionate about creating space for women to care for themselves during seasons of change and transition in life.
Q&A
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: We have a license from the state of North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services to provide in-home support in Charlotte & surrounding areas. Our license is verified and renewed annually, and all of our employees go through rigorous interviews to ensure fit along with criminal background checks prior to employment.
Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
A: There's nothing like having your partner's support during the postpartum journey. We believe that with our assistance, your partner will have more capacity to be fully present & available with you and your new baby.
Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: Don't settle! Many women will tell you stories about how coming home is a whirlwind and to expect sleepless nights - we are here to tell you that doesn't have to be your reality! With the right support systems in place, you can find joy in your postpartum experience.
