About Cara The Doula
Bio
I have loved babies my whole life. Following my true passion, I became a doula in 2019 and outside of having my own babies, have never been happier in my work. New mamas or repete mamas need support now more than ever. There are so many tips and tricks when getting to know one's baby so having someone with a plethora of experience helping out, can be a huge blessing.
Q&A
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: DONA PPD, NCS advanced IIAM
Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: Mostly Marin county. I will travel in the right situation.
Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
A: Your partner will not be replaced. Having a postpartum doula helps save you time, catch up on sleep, get to know your baby, etc etc. Having help from a postpartum doula will only make your partner's interactions with you and the baby stronger.

Postpartum support will vary a bit in every situation. I offer support for newborn babies and parents who are just home from the hospital. I offer support for the fourth trimester. I can offer support for the first year of baby's life based on the needs of the family. I try to remain as flexible as possible to give the family the support they need at the time they need it most.
Infant massage lessons can be done in person or in online groups.
