Hello! My Doula journey began when I was privileged to be present at the birth of my nephew. I was deeply moved by the beauty of the birth experience and found I was intuitive in knowing how to help. I ended up at 5 births of family and friends that year in a non-professional capacity and got trained soon after. I feel so honored to support women in this miraculous journey in a professional capacity. I am a CAPPA certified Labor and Birth Doula serving the South Bay.

Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: CAPPA Certified Labor Doula Body Ready Method Professional Eco-Postnatal Care Practitioner Spinning Babies Workshop
Q: Are there any specialities in who you serve? (e.g. home birth, VBAC, etc.)
A: I have experience with all kinds of birth in all kinds of settings! Home Birth, Birth Center Birth, Hospital Birth, VBAC, Planned Cesarean, Water Birth, IVF, Previous Birth Trauma
Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
A: I support all members of the birthing team, including partners and extended family members. It is your special day and I want each member to feel included and prioritized. Mothers receive the most comfort from those they feel safe and loved by. I am a coach for those people who want to support the mom, but don't quite know how.
Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: Plan your support system for pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. Helping hands are more valuable than a onesie any day!
