My name is Elizabeth, my husband and I had our now 6 year old son following a miscarriage. I didn’t know what I was doing the first time & I was terrified the second time. I became a doula after I realized that it didn’t have happen like that & probably wouldn’t have if I had the right resources. Being a doula is more than techniques & practices to assist in labor/delivery, a doula is also a wealth of experience, knowledge & resources.

Based in North Central WV - serving all of WV, and parts of VA, PA, MD, & OH
How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
A doula can provide support in a variety of ways - one of those ways is teaching your partner how to support you. A doula can teach your partner all the techniques a doula would use to support the laboring partner, & be there to provide additional support during the birth. Support comes in all shapes & sizes!
