Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?

A: I was drawn to supporting parents-to-be after hearing countless traumatic childbirth stories. I believed these experiences could be prevented through education and support. My passion for serving women fueled my commitment to empowering them through informed choices.

Q: What are your certifications and trainings?

A: With 25+ years of experience, I'm a certified doula through toLabor, specializing in serving military families as a Tri-care doula. Also certified in placenta encapsulation by Brilliant Birth Academy and a Birth Boot Camp instructor.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: I provide pregnancy support to families in Southwest Texas: Uvalde, Brackettville, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and surrounding areas. Willing to travel to San Antonio and Kerrville.

Q: What's your favorite past client story?

A: My client took my 10-week birth class for her 2nd pregnancy. Her hospital was not supportive of a Vaginal birth after cesearean. She went into spontaneous labor before her planned c-section, delivering within 1 hour of arriving at the hospital. This experience boosted her confidence, believing in ability to have more children and easier recovery.

A: New parents: Absorb all natural birth education available. Plan for an amazing yet flexible experience. Discuss and prepare for challenges. Let go of expectations and make informed decisions. Seek hands-on postpartum support. Build a strong support team.
