What drew you into working with parents-to-be?

I was drawn to supporting parents-to-be after hearing countless traumatic childbirth stories. I believed these experiences could be prevented through education and support. My passion for serving women fueled my commitment to empowering them through informed choices.

What are your certifications and trainings?

With 25+ years of experience, I'm a certified doula through toLabor, specializing in serving military families as a Tri-care doula. Also certified in placenta encapsulation by Brilliant Birth Academy and a Birth Boot Camp instructor.

What locations or areas do you serve?

I provide pregnancy support to families in Southwest Texas: Uvalde, Brackettville, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and surrounding areas. Willing to travel to San Antonio and Kerrville.

What's your favorite past client story?

My client took my 10-week birth class for her 2nd pregnancy. Her hospital was not supportive of a Vaginal birth after cesearean. She went into spontaneous labor before her planned c-section, delivering within 1 hour of arriving at the hospital. This experience boosted her confidence, believing in ability to have more children and easier recovery.

What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?

New parents: Absorb all natural birth education available. Plan for an amazing yet flexible experience. Discuss and prepare for challenges. Let go of expectations and make informed decisions. Seek hands-on postpartum support. Build a strong support team.
