Q: Are there any specialities in who you serve? (e.g. home birth, VBAC, etc.)
A: I am a very flexible person and am willing to work in all environments, but I feel especially called to supporting women that are going through difficult pregnancies or are in DV situations.
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: I trained and was certified through Global Birth Community.
Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
A: As a Doula I am met with this fear from clients a lot. But the truth is that your partner is the most useful tool available to me! In a perfect birth the only thing I would need to do is hand over supplies to your partner and offer them as much encouragement as you!
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: I can really only answer this in one way: I felt called by God to become a doula. I believe that every woman should have a doula, and I know that God was wanting me to be the doula for some of the women in this world.
