About Birth Wise Doula Care
Bio
With a deep passion for birth and over 25 years of experience birthing and raising my own children, I bring a calm, knowledgeable, and intuitive presence to your journey into parenthood. As a trained birth and postpartum doula, I offer compassionate support through pregnancy, labor, and the early postpartum period. My approach is grounded in respect for your choices, evidence-based care, and a deep understanding of the emotional and physical transformations of birth.

Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: I'm a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula through Madriella. I also have am trained in Neonatal resuscitation.In addition to my work as a birth doula, I also serve as a birth assistant to a local midwife, giving me valuable hands-on experience in various birth settings.
Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: I serve the greater Prescott area- Chino Valley, Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, as well as Skull Valley & Wilhoit and will go as far as North Phoenix, Sedona, the Verde Valley and Jerome all of which are 1-1.5 hours away. I also offer online coaching through pregnancy and postpartum.
Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: Trust your inner wisdom and strength. You've got this!
Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
A: As a doula, I’m specially trained in various comfort measures like breathing techniques, positioning, pain management & mindset. I’m not only a doula for the mother, but I also specialize in supporting partners and I will provide guidance for your partner on how to best assist you.
