Comprehensive Birth Doula Services
Birth Doulas
Birth Doula services include three prenatal visits with your family, including Body Ready Method support, where I will help to prepare you for an informed, confident birth experience. I will support you throughout your labor and birth and stay with you until you and your family are comfortable after the birth. There will be one follow-up postnatal visit within the first few weeks after your baby is born.
$1650 for 3 prenatal visits, Body Ready Method exercises, continuous pregnancy, labor and delivery support, a postpartum follow-up.

A birth plan is an invaluable resource! It details your wishes and preferences and will act as a reference sheet for everyone involved.
Let me help guide you through the birth process to build your ideal plan. We will go over all of your options and discuss the pros and cons of each so that you can make informed decisions for your birth.
Birth plan consultation is included with doula services, however it is also an option even if you are not
$275 for a 90 minute consultation.

Hi! My name is Jenny Lash and I am a birth and postpartum doula serving the Nashville and surrounding areas. First and foremost, I am a mother to four sweet girls of my own. Before training to become a doula, I was an early childhood teacher. I have a degree in early childhood and a master's in special education. After spending years working closely with the families of young children, I decided to follow a dream of mine to help young families in a new way.

What locations or areas do you serve?
I am located in Williamson County, just south of Nashville, Tennessee. I serve birth clients in the Nashville area, and postpartum clients who are located near me in Williamson County.
What are your certifications and trainings?
I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula through Blissful Birthing in Tennessee. I am also a certified Body Ready Method Pro.
How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
I too had this same concern when I hired my own doula, so I completely understand! As your doula, I will customize my services to support you AND your partner in ways that meet your needs. I can be more hands on with comfort measures, or I can offer suggestions to your partner so that they may be the one directly supporting you through labor.
What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
I started Birth Confidence Doula Services as a way to support women through each phase of their journey into motherhood. I am passionate about all things birth, and I believe that every women has the power within to have the birth experience they desire. My goal is to educate clients and help them to feel confident and supported.
Are there any specialities in who you serve? (e.g. home birth, VBAC, etc.)
I am passionate about supporting all women through whatever birth experience they desire, and I have grown to love supporting women in natural hospital birth experiences. I also specialize in supporting VBACs and had three successful VBACs myself where I birthed naturally in a hospital setting.
