Bio

Like many women, I expected breastfeeding to come naturally for my daughter and me, but it took 4 months of struggle (and formula) before we finally got the hang of it. The heartache, anxiety, and pain I experienced showed me exactly why women give up, and inspired me to help. I’m Kelly Wysocki-Emery, and I know just what you’re going through. Q: What are your certifications and trainings?

A: 1990-Bachelor of Science, Psychology & Education 1994- Certified Lactation Educator 2001-Registered Nurse 2004-Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant

Q: How much experience do you have?

A: I've helped over 25,000 families (and counting) in hospitals, doctor's offices, via my own office and in client's homes (oh, and definitely via telehealth!).

Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?

A: In my online course I drive home the research that clearly shows the partner/dad is THE NUMBER ONE factor in whether lactation works or not. No pressure on them....but they play no small part and my goal is to make them be a HUGE part of the team, showing them multiple ways they can be helpful - I love it when partners are involved!

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?

A: I serve the entire country via telehealth, but office and home visits are done in the West Michigan area (but we do travel all over the state for a travel fee).
