About Archways Birth Support
Bio
Candace is a Certified Childbirth Educator (BfW), a member of Nurturely’s lactation educator community, and the founder of Archways Birth Support. She offers birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum classes. Her mission is to help parents enter birth with information and confidence. When parents know their options and what to expect, they’re more likely to feel respected and supported during birth and postpartum. That makes for a more positive transition to parenthood.

Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: You have all the inner wisdom, resilience, and strength you need for birth and parenthood. Prepare for your birth with information-gathering and reflection. Then you will make the best decisions possible for your family every step of the way.
Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: I offer virtual classes for those living in the US and in-person classes in the Chicago area.
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: Becoming a parent was the most powerful experience of my life. I believe each family’s birth and early parenting experience is important. Birth is a huge rite of passage and parents deserve nonjudgemental preparation, support, and respect throughout this journey.

The Postpartum Planning Package includes two private, 1-hour sessions with me before birth, email access to me through your first three weeks postpartum, and plenty of resource recommendations and planning tools. I will help you build a custom, evidence-based plan for those early days with your newborn, so you can focus on bonding and healing once your baby is here.
