Bio
Hi, I'm Colleen Andrade, co-owner of A Golden Birth & Postpartum. Being a certified postpartum doula and certified lactation educator, it has been my mission and passion for over the past 6 years, to support families as they prepare for and welcome their babies home. We provide tailored support and packages to fit your unique needs, creating a postpartum experience that promotes healing, bonding and confidence! Let's get started!

Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: After an amazing birth doula saw my natural ability to support families and suggested I become a postpartum doula, the rest is history. Also, recognizing the lack of support and education I had when welcoming my boys, it lit the passion in me to help other families create better outcomes and feel fully supported postpartum.
Q: What are your certifications and trainings?
A: I am a certified postpartum doula and a certified lactation educator through CAPPA. I have taken additional training and workshops for bottle refusal, pumping and flange fitting, for NICU families and more. I am currently completing my NICU Doula certification course too which helps me to better serve this postpartum community.
Q: How much experience do you have?
A: I have been working as a postpartum doulas for over 6 years. However my experience support children and their families spans back to when I started babysitting when I was 10 years old. I have always had a passion for supporting families and children.
Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: I live in central Massachusetts and service that area and slightly beyond. We do have an amazing team of doulas from all across Massachusetts so we support families throughout the state!

Newborn Care Classes
Description
Navigating the 4th Trimester(Postpartum Prep/Newborn Care) and Lactation 101 courses provides education from postpartum recovery to newborn care, breast/chest feeding and more. Learn what to expect so you can enter this journey with confidence.
Birth Doula services and education are also available!
Pricing Description
Courses held privately 1:1 and online for your convenience! Cost ranges for the classes are $150-$400. Must have computer and internet access to join class. PDF file available for course materials.

Overnight Postpartum Doula Support: Overnight care session of 8 hours. Allowing you time to rest while your baby is being lovingly cared for.

The Blissful Journey*: 25 postpartum sessions (4 hrs) & lactation support. The Light You Need*: 12 postpartum sessions (4 hrs) & lactation support. Build Your Own Golden Path: Options: Additional hour of postpartum care, 4 hrs of postpartum care, & unlimited text/phone/zoom/email support.
*A prenatal session, follow up/check-in, & unlimited text/phone/zoom/email support are included.
Pricing Description
Postpartum Doula Packages: The Blissful Journey $5500, perfect for those wanting support in all things postpartum. The Light You Need $2640, perfect for those already experienced in the postpartum period. Build Your Own Golden Path $TBD, allows you to tailor your specific wants and needs along your journey.
All packages are for daytime support.
