Bio
While growing up in San Diego, CA., with a brother who had a disability, Sarah's life trajectory was already paved, without knowing exactly where it would end up. Many years later, it wasn't until after the birth of her two beautiful children (2009 & 2012) that Sarah was drawn to wanting to help a family feel confident and supported after bringing home their newborn. Finally, after some research and time, Sarah began pursuing an education to become a Postpartum Doula in 2015.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: Ventura County and the surrounding areas.
Q: How much experience do you have?
A: I suppose that depends on what experience you're looking for. As a Professional Doula, I've been working with families since 2015, as a caretaker (for my brother with special needs) for as long as I can remember, and as a parent, learning from my experiences since 2009.
Q: How do you answer the question: "I want your support but my partner feels like they'll be replaced"?
A: I do understand the trepidation. However, imagine how exhausted you and your partner are. You've been up hours on end with a fussy baby, and you begin to feel overwhelmed. In walks the doula. A calm begins inside, as you realize that the extra set of hands supports EVERYONE’s needs. I offer guidance and reassurance, a peace of mind.

While Postpartum Support mainly focuses on the birth parent, I pride myself in supporting the WHOLE family. The priority is the birth parent, but there are so many changes happening for the WHOLE family that finding harmony for everyone is essential.

Pricing Description
Support shifts are scheduled as a 4-hour shift (minimum requirement) for a total of $200 per shift. Additional time can be added to a shift (based on availability) at $50/per hour. Contracts are offered; i.e.; a 2-week contract requires, at minimum, three shifts per week.
Currently, offering In-Home Daytime Support in and around Ventura County, California.

The Nesting Package
Organizing
Description
Planning, set-up, and being prepared for the baby's arrival can be so much fun! The daunting part might be.. the clothes, blankets, linens, and more are now laundry, the toys need a place to call home, the kitchen cabinets might need reorganizing for all the new bottles, etc.
-Wash, Fold, & Organize All Baby Clothing, Blankets, & Linens
-Organizing Baby Items (in common spaces)
-Diaper Bag Organization & “On-The-Go” Preparedness
Pricing Description
Anywhere between 2-6 weeks before the arrival of the newest member of your family, being set and ready in the nursery/baby's room is ideal.
Two 4-hour sessions are offered at $500.00. Any additional hours requested/added to a set shift will be at the hourly rate of 45.00 dollars.
