About Kristin the Doula
Bio
Hi! I'm Kristin DuBoce and I am a Certified Postpartum Doula! I am a native Arizonan and live in Mesa where my husband and I currently reside and are raising our family of girls! I became a postpartum doula because I believe no one should have to navigate the early days of parenthood alone. The transition into life with a newborn is beautiful, exhausting, emotional, and often overwhelming. I’ve seen how much of this tender time can be shaped by the kind of support a family receives.

Q: What locations or areas do you serve?
A: I serve families in the East and Central valley, which includes: Scottsdale, Arcadia, Paradise Valley, Queen Creek and Fountain Hills.
Q: How much experience do you have?
A: I have been a Doula since October 2022, serving over 50 families, including 4 sets of twins.
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: With my first child, I faced challenges, incl. feelings of loneliness & isolation, as well as prenatal & postpartum depression. During my second pregnancy, I proactively est. a network of care providers who delivered loving support & empowerment, illuminating the transformative power of a support team. This inspired my passion for postpartum work.

A: Certified Postpartum Doula training with Cappa in 2022.

Description
A postpartum doula provides physical, emotional, and practical support to new parents during the postpartum period, which is typically the first few weeks or months after childbirth. My role is to help parents adjust to their new roles, facilitate bonding with their baby, and provide guidance on newborn care and feeding. I can assist with household tasks such as laundry and meal preparation, as well as providing emotional support.

Overnight support- 8hr shift from 10p-6a @ $320/ night.
