I have had the honor to assist hundreds of couples worldwide to learn HypnoBirthing® to have the birthing experience they created in their sessions. My most important credential is my personal experience as having learned the method first as an expectant mother with all the fears, feelings, doubts and concerns that one faces when traveling the journey of pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood.
Q&A
Q: What drew you into working with parents-to-be?
A: Although learning HypnoBirthing for the birth of my first baby drew me into birth world, experiencing postpartum mood disorder led me to learn more about how our mind works. It wasn't until I began to utilize hypnosis to become pregnant with my son four years later that I dove deeper in and became certified in Clinical Hypnotism.
Q: How much experience do you have?
A: I have been talking with women about how to use their uteri and vaginas for over 2 decades.
Q: What's your top piece of advice for an expectant mom?
A: It's between the eyes, NOT the thighs! Meaning the baby knew how to grow the baby, the body knows how to birth the baby. Mamas need to address their fears to get their head in the right space and let the body do what it was built to do. Ten percent is what happens to us, 90% is how we response. Our bodies are essentially robots driven by our brains
