Blossom is an independent community-based 501 (c)3 non-profit organization.
We serve women and their families during a very critical period in their life and help make the world a better place through their children. We offer classes at all stages of the parenting journey: from the early planning days, through childbirth prep and prenatal care, through newborn baby prep and beyond! This gift card can be used for any of our services!

Workshop pricing varies based on the type and length of the class. We also have free programs like our Mentor Mom Program. Discounted pricing is available to those who become BBF lifetime members. We have virtual and in person classes available!

Childbirth Prep Series 3 weeks
Description
This series derives tools and techniques from a diverse range of sources covering core topics of any comprehensive childbirth preparation class. It has a great balance between theory and practice allowing you to arrive at the day of your birth knowledgeable and confident.
What you will learn: breathing and relaxation techniques, positions of comfort, partner support, pain management, informed consent, complications and medical interventions.

Annual Membership
Description
Annual membership allows you to enjoy Blossom’s services with generous discounts! Get 15% off passes (e.g. single credit, 8 class pass, and monthly unlimited) and get 10% off other select classes and workshops. Annual membership expires after one year and does not automatically renew.

Baby Care
Description
The transition from pregnancy to parenthood can be magical, exciting, and difficult all at once. Though most of this journey will be guided by intuition and love, basic knowledge of your baby's needs will help ensure a smooth adjustment for both of you. Topics include: baby essentials - what you really need, eating and sleeping patterns, cord and circumcision care, diapering, bathing and more!

Birthing Naturally: Partner Supported Childbirth
Description
This class prepares the expectant person and partner by encouraging them to feel empowered, make informed decisions based on evidence-based research, trust in one’s body, and surrender to the natural unfolding of labor and birth. Students will learn practical tools and techniques that help minimize discomfort and encourage the smooth progression of labor and birth while sustaining confidence in one’s abilities to labor and deliver with strength.

$522, class fee includes an expectant person and a birth partner. Please note: $25 materials fee payable directly to the instructor. Study Guide may be picked up from Blossom the week prior to the start date of class.

Comfort Measures
Description
This class is great practice for the real "work" of labor. Whether you are aiming for an unmedicated birth or expect to have an epidural, learning numerous tools will give you options as you navigate the challenges of labor. You will learn breathing techniques, useful movements/positions, relaxation techniques, and more. It is highly recommended to take a childbirth prep class before, as this class does not cover topics such as stages of labor.

Partner Support Prep
Description
This class is truly one of a kind and offered with the support partner specifically in mind. Learn how to apply support techniques through the entire pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum journey to help create the best experience for your family. It is recommended that support partners take a childbirth preparation class prior to taking this class. Birthing partners are welcome to join us, but our focus will be on the supporting partner.

Childbirth Prep Refresher
Description
Our Childbirth Prep Refresher is an opportunity to revisit the labor and birth process from an experienced perspective. Topics include: stages of labor and how they might be different this time, comfort measures for labor such as breathing and relaxation, revisiting previous birth experience to address things you would like to do the same or differently, common labor protocols, introducing your older child to their new sibling.

Breastfeeding Basics
Description
In Breastfeeding Basics, participants receive practical information and support to enhance their feeding experience and help them anticipate and overcome common stumbling blocks that new nursing parents often encounter. Topics include: nipple preparation, engorgement, storing and heating milk, blocked ducts and breast lumps, positions of comfort, going back to work, and more.
